My first hotel project in the DLR hospitality group, was as a project architect & BIM support on the interior design scope of the Elizabeth hotel located in Fort Colins, CO.
The 5-story, 162-room hotel, includes the main hotel lobby and entry, the lounge, meeting areas, the fitness area, the hotel rooms and hotel room floor corridors and the interior finishes for all the back of house spaces.
Additional to the guest room package, I also developed the Emporium restaurant/wine bar area on the first level.
With over 40 variations in guest room type, and 5 suite types – the guest room package for this Marriott Autograph was certainly an undertaking.
The building’s stepped configuration, and concrete structural system lead to an extensive effort in documentation.
