In 2012 I began work on a new private residence in Annapolis, MO. The fast-tracked project was to produce construction documents for a lower budget household for a client with ambulatory issues.

By virtue of the siting on the property, we created a 2-story home with all living elements located on the first floor, and room to finish out the basement for live-in home care.

New Residence:
4,058 total square feet

Features:

  • 12” SIPS Roof Panels
  • High efficiency closed-cell insulation & high efficiency windows
  • Exterior solar shades

INTANGIBLES

In this case – the intangibles are further driven by producing the renderings and backgrounds to illustrate this project. I’m using more and more Enscape, and it’s proving to be a great tool to replace lost images and media from the original documentation. More over, I’m having fun putting it thru its paces and learning as I go.

With this project, I was introduced to a specialized client, low budget and a fast time frame. The client simply didn’t want to spend mass amounts of money on design, they merely needed the essentials, with a slight twist.

Utilizing the Revit model, Revit walk-thrus and video – I delivered the contractors set in a very compressed timeframe.
