I’ve been involved in Residential Design & Construction since well before ever attending Architecture School.
Early years had me swinging a hammer and being a gopher for family construction projects, and around 1994-95, I started working as a residential draftsman for Wisconsin Log Homes in Green Bay, WI. While there, I worked on home projects all over the United States, in the Bahamas, Germany and a resort in Japan.
I still remember the translation drawings details that I did between traditional mortising construction details & the ‘typical’ methodologies used in Western construction.
