Vespera on Ocean is a 124-room ocean side resort in San Luis Obispo, CA. developed as one of the Autograph Collection by Marriott.

The project recently opened in 2020, but was in design development and under construction for years, as you’d imagine that a resort of this scale and luxury would require. 

I worked on this project for period of time with the Santa Monica office of DLR, developing construction documents, additional details, and coordinating with the interior designers. Unfortunately, my access to most of the records of all this were lost in the drive failure that’s spurned a full rebuild of my professional portfolio. 

I’m really pleased to have been a part of this project, and to see the photos now – its a place that I wouldn’t mind wiling away the hours over a sunset or two.
